QuantHub Alabama Data Scholars
About
The QuantHub Alabama Data Scholars Internship Program places high school juniors and seniors from around the state into paid learning experiences to grow their competitive data literacy skills and engage them with careers in data science.
As Alabama’s innovation ecosystem grows, there is also a growing need for high-demand data science skills. QuantHub is deploying its skills training software to schools throughout the state to prepare students with competitive data literacy skills and engage them with careers in data science.
In partnership with Innovate Alabama, QuantHub has launched an exciting pilot program: Alabama Data Scholars.
The paid summer internship program places Alabama high school juniors and seniors into 8-week paid learning experiences at Alabama-based employers that creatively use data. The summer program offers interns hands-on experience with AI and data science as well as critical professional development. Participating interns and businesses get the chance to shape the future of Alabama’s tech scene in this pilot program.

Company Testimonials
We want to let students see rural opportunities relating to data and technology… We will be using our intern at Commerce to help track our SalesForce projects and information, clean up records, do reporting and go on industry visits as an added bonus. We are completely impressed with the young lady we will be working with!
Brenda Tuck, Rural Development Manager, Alabama Department of Commerce
These candidates are impressive and interesting—already quite a bit of knowledge! It looks like every one of them could be a great fit, and we can help them gain some more experience.
